She's 5!

My baby turned 5 on August 3rd... yikes! She is a beautiful, daring, fun, outgoing little girl and we lover her so very much! Here is her cake...

She got to put the sprinkles on top and help with the frosting:)

She had one party at the lake and one party in Hastings:) What a fun time of life!

wish we all could be california girls...

California was a blast. I'm missing the beach, but I am soooo glad to be home.

Here are all the cousins in their name shirts. too many cute kiddos that's for sure!

Aria had a few facials while she was at the beach. She was lovin' that sand.

Ava thought the Electric light parade at disneyland was great!

Ali spent most of her time chasing and running from waves. She loved the water!

What a fun trip. We are thankful for the McNair family and have many good memories!

Yum Yum!

While dad and daughter are out on their date, I try to make an effort to do something fun with the other child. Ali and I put on our aprons and bakers hats and made cookie dough a few weeks ago. She was so cute. She kept saying, "We are good bakers mom. We are really good bakers." Ava got to have ice cream and cookie dough that night. :) I love this time as they have been less frequent since Aria has joined our family.

When Ali went on her date, Ava and I played computer games and she got to help get Aria ready for bed. Two year olds are so smart and so much fun. I love my girls!

A loving Father...

Daddy has started date nights at the McNair house. He did this a little bit last winter/spring, took the summer off and is starting again. Each week one of the girls gets to go on a date with Daddy. The last two weeks it was ice cream and the park. They love it! They think they are sooooo special... and they are and that's the point. The girls are blessed with a Father who loves them, wants a relationship with them, and works at it! What an impact parents have on their children... I look at my wonderful husband and praise the Lord that he is such a loving Father. I am thankful that I had a loving Father growing up...and that my heavenly Father loves me. Mothers get all kinds of weird (but good) attention.... let's give those Daddy's some hugs today!

Preschool days

Here are Ali's preschool buddies. I love this pic because it reminds me of a picture my mom has of the All 'A' carpool we had when I was little. I think it was for preschool? Mom? Andy, Aaron, Abby and ??? How fun!

We decided that I was going to teach Ali everything she needed to know at home this year. :) But on Tuesdays, we get together with three other families who have preschoolers and have preschool. The Moms take turns teaching, hosting, and watching the smaller kiddos and it works out well! Last week they went to the fire station... there will be pics and stories on that later...

Momma McNair
